I'm having also the same problem. MM does not play the whole WAV-File. MM stops playing too early (< 1 sec before end of the track). Configure the output plugin didn't solve the problem.

Oh, I understood it wouldn't skip the beginning. As said before send a copy to support, most likely the files got corrupted, but they'll be able to tell more about it.

I don't know what you mean by when playback is stopped and I play one of these songs? I can tell you that if I fast forward this one song I am experimenting with through the 1:30 mark, the song will continue to play from 1:31 to the end without a problem. It's just when it hits the 1:30 mark while playing that it skips to another song.

You could try sending a copy of a song with this issue to support. Does this also happen when playback is stopped and you play one of these problem songs?

Thanks, I tried turning off the silence removal and changing the sound device, but the song still skips at exactly 1:30 into it every time I play it. This only happens with a dozen or so songs, so I wonder if there's something wrong with the copy of the song I have on this computer. Hmmmmmm? Thanks.

Tools > Options > Output Plug-ins, highlight the enabled output plugin and Click the Configure button.

Crossfade is off and I have tried changing output plugin, but to no avail. I don't know where to find silence removal or how to change the sound device. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you disable crossfading and silence removal? If so try switching output plugin or change the sound device used.

I'm having a similar problem. Some songs will be playing fine and will then just skip in the middle to the next song. These are all FLAC files which play fine at home on my Sonos system, so I doubt it's the track itself. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated. :D

Don't be afraid, it's only a computer. A machine, a big calculator without any real intelligence.
Computer is only doing what you tell him to do.
Like I said, you are the master.

Right. Plugins options only specify how MM should handle and redirect the sound to sound device(s).

These are only options. Matter of taste. You're the master! :)

Note that some options require stop & restart playing to take effect.

Does it matter if I disable all the options except for hardware acceleration?
