i agree with newuser1003, i don't typically go to a forum looking for problems before i use new software, i just use it. i've had the same issue, a library of 6000 songs irrevocably destroyed, and there was no warning that clearly stated what was about to happen. yes it did ask if i really wanted to change all my songs, but that was what i was trying to do, to autocorrect my library. why would i suspect it would change every file to the same album and artist? who would want to do that with a large music library. it's irresponsible to leave such a programming capability in a music player marketed to the general public, most of whom are not coders. Mediamonkeys presence on this forum seems nonexistent, if they do monitor they certainly have not provided any helpful input. snarky comments from other users don't help either, shut up if you've not got a helpful response.
