Thanks for trying to to help. Per my post above, its all wotking now, but this is a very frustrating experience.
Any upgrade that initially leaves the user wihout music, settings, and playlists is NOT working well in my books.
The program knows exactly where the ini file is and where the DB is. It should update accordingly, rather that leave the user scrambling to put the pieces back together.
This is expecailly true as the INI file itself is never in the same spot twice (so much so you have a web page to describe where it might be). So, either the upgrade should process the old ini, or, the program should have a feature where one can specify the DB location. Having neither of these features, and just blaming the mess on Windows, (or on it being a major upgrade), are pretty lame excuses. This was anything but seamless.
