I'm using version 4.0.3.1476.

To add a new album I usually just drag the folder into "Entire Library" in the tree on the left.

If I then go to Tools - Options - Library - File Monitor, a check mark will automatically have been placed next to the album I added, but I don't want this to happen.

I can't reproduce on 4.0.3. What version are you using? What are detailed repro steps?

If I drag and drop an album into my library, file monitor automatically checks the box next to the folder and starts monitoring it. How can I turn this off? Thanks.
