thank you for your help. I just launched ITunes and got an Audio Configuration Error. I checked my Playback options and found the speakers were disabled. I had tried to connect a Bluetooth Speaker a week ago and must have disabled the internal speakers. I did all of my File reorg Friday and over the weekend but didn't encounter the problem until Sunday night. Most of the reorg was drag and drop files and folders on the MM tree and I think I had a file tree problem and the Audio problem at the same time.

One of those Duh moments! Look at the complex and ignore the simple problems.

I did that and it still grays out the files and skips down the list.

I upgraded to 4.1.24.1883 same thing.

That'd normally happens when you move/rename files outside of MediaMonkey.

If Locate Moved/Missing Files can't match them you may need to start fresh by emptying the database (you'll loose Playlists, Play History and unsaved tags) and then scanning the files again.

No, they don't match and I haven't been able to fix it using Locate Missing Files, the Third Party App or Rescan/Add files.

Did you read the link on greyed out files? Does the Path showing in MediaMonkey match the Path where the files actually reside?

These are the current SNIPS of my File Tree after rescanning the entire internal HD library. I also can't play anything on my external HD either.

I cannot get anything to play. Just scrolls through greying out the Tracks.

I have tried to check the output plug-ins.

I really don't know how to explain what I am looking at without the pictures. I am running the Third PArty App: Update Location of Files in the Database again now.

If you mean that you have additional sub-folders that you don't want, Auto-Organize Files can fix the Paths: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... enames/4.0
The problem may be that the Paths are too long now, they can't be more than 255 characters for the full Path (including drive letter and extension).

Thanks! I set up the image hosting. Here are the screen shots. It appears I have a multiple layer tree in my file names. I am trying the 3rd Party App to locate files, but it seems to freeze up and has not worked correctly.
