MediaMonkey is Windows only, thus it can't be run on a NAS as they're generally a flavor of Linux.

MMW or its service requires that the pc be on. I don't believe that it will run from the nas as you wish

help needed to set up MM on NAS drive

Hi
i am sure others have done something similar but i cant find the answer to my problem elsewhere.hope someone can help

I currently use MM on my PC with windows 10 and via network play to a marantz cr611 . I intend to move music library to a seagate central NAS drive. How can i run MM from this. I like the way MM allows me to manage my collection and its playlists function in particular. The plan is that my PC will be turned off (whereas now it needs to be left on for long periods) unless i am using it for PC things and i will network via the seagate. I am not bothered about playing 2 copies of MM at once.

Thanks in advance for your help
