MS Surface Pro Wireless Sync

by thathiphopguy » Thu Jul 25, 2013 12:59 am

Ok. I am trying to sync my MS Surface Pro with MediaMonkey on my desktop. So far, I got no dice. I am however able to share the library with my Surface using UPnP/DLNA. That works perfectly.

But MediaMonkey does not see my actual device even though the Surface recognizes the MediaMonkey server. When I hit "sync settings" or "sync" within the app on the Surface I get the following:

"Sync Error: Unable to connect to the server. Make sure that the server is running. If this is your first time connecting to it, you'll need to accept the connection on the server in order to proceed."

Can somebody walk me through the process? There is no option to "accept the connection" but my device and my computer see each other fine. It's just MediaMonkey Desktop not seeing the Surface.

Thanks in advance!
