Thanks for the response. Testing is always good.

I was just informing since my vacation is almost done. And then I will need my Asus a lot more for listening music in the car and in the train.

To put Joking aside, we are doing in deep internal tests of new build and making additional tweaks to not disappoint our users. But part when we are satisfied enough would be most accurate assumption of when.

Asus Vivotab RT Win 8.1 RT takes long time to start playlist

Hi,

I have an Asus Vivotab RT running Windows 8.1 RT. Since this has a new Xbox Music app with some bugs I installed Mediamonkey as well.

On my SDXC card are about 9119 songs. When I start MM and want to "Shuffle all music" or if I open the playlist "All music" it takes a very long time before it is ready; 3-5 minutes! If I just start the app, hit "Shuffle all music" and go to another app it is not preparing to shuffle all music in the back ground. So I really have to wait until it is ready.

When the app is running for a while this is much faster!

Is there a way to speed this up? MM just uses the Windows Music library right? If it is not possible to speed this up does Ventis Media perhaps have an alternative media player? I am not really looking for a solution that displays album art, plays videos etc. I am only looking for an app that can use my music library and shuffle through all music. (Actually like the music app on my Windows Phone device)

Thanks in advance!
