I have since upgraded to gold so I can do wireless sync and now it is working fine.

Then you're relying on Android Media Scanner to pick up metadata. If you want Ratings you'll need to do an MMW to device (SD card in device) sync.

I followed the wiki. I set up the sync partnership with the SD card in the phone first and then I took the SD card out and did the sync directly to the SD card.

Did you sync to the SD card directly or to the SD card in the device?

over the weekend I synced my music collection from MMW to the SD card in MMA. All the tags seems to have transferred over correctly except the ratings. All of the tracks in MMA are listen with unknown rating.

Is there maybe a setting missing that I did not select when transferring? I am new to Media Monkey.
