No, there's no way to do it currently.

It would be great if:
- MM could have an option to retag tracks while synching so that the album artist field will move to the regular artist field
Oh yes! This is *exactly* what I've been looking for. I was searching this forum to find is there's anyway I can do this myself, e.g. via scripting. Is there? Does anyone have an idea?

Yes it would be great. In the Sync form:
"Checked/Unchecked = Tag Artist as AlbumArtist"

Hey,
when synching compilations to mp3 players you get problems when scrolling the players library via tags.
E.g. you synchronized a compilation of 20 artists. Most (or all?) mp3 players don't understand the album artist tag and so on display every artist as single entry when browsing through artists. So you can stop this list because it's too confusing.
It would be great if:
- MM could have an option to retag tracks while synching so that the album artist field will move to the regular artist field
- or MM would allow to execute some script that could modify the files before being copied

And my second wish:
It would be quiet nice if we would be able to colorize the album frames in the album view based on specific genres. For example all soundtracks would be green, compilations blue, singles red and all other albums grey (like they are displayed at the moment)
