Thank you, nohitter. That indeed was my problem. I was one minor version behind (3.1.0.xxxx). Now running 3.2.0.1294, and things are working fine. Appreciate the help.

I tried the last one, "Brainstuff", and it is working just fine for me. Are you using the latest version of MM?

What did you enter for the subscription options? Did you set up which episodes (i.e. two most recent, one most recent, etc.) should be downloaded?

Been using MM for awhile, and just now experimenting with the Podcast Subscription feature. Some friends gave me suggestons for some Podcasts, I successfully entered the RSS feed and MM works correctly. For example Car Talk from NPR:

http://www.npr.org/rss/podcast.php?id=510208

however, one friend recommended a series of podcasts from the "How Stuff Works" website
http://www.howstuffworks.com/hsw-podcast.htm
such as "Stuff You Should Know", "Tech Stuff", "Brain Stuff"

All three don't work, but consider the last one, "Brain Stuff", the rss feed appears to be
http://www.howstuffworks.com/podcasts/brainstuff.rss

It appears to register correctly in the subscription window, that is, a Title and Description is automatically filled in. Yet no podcasts are downloaded. Any ideas?
