Any results on the new 9.2.1? Is it working with MM or should we wait?

well, their website doesn't mention it... http://www.copytrans.net/copytrans.php

that's straight forward though. MM needs to actually get the music ON the device in the first place! CopyTrans simply copies back what already exists - MM can already do that (i.e. view the contents) it just can't put it on there (yet).

CopyTrans™ (formerly CopyPod) is the ultimate backup & recovery tool for your iPod & iPhone songs and videos.

Retrieve iPod music, videos, ratings, playlists, play count & more from iPod to PC.

Backup iPod music from iPod to computer when sending iPod in repair, in case of computer/hard drive crash.

Transfer, import, download iPod to iTunes. Rebuild library from iPod, iPod Touch, iPad & iPhone.

We need a Plugin that works with mediamonkey and syncs over copytransmanager.
some great programmers here !? :)

The first post of the thread is up to date. There is no way to get them to work together right now.

As stated many times MediaMonkey 3.2.2 is slated to support iOS 4, it will most likely see a beta release in the Beta forum once ready to make sure nothing broke before a final release which will be announced on the frontpage.

Helping ppl/workarounds/useful info is GREAT, but
- could you please discuss WHY or WHY the hell NOT you do like iTunes/MM/whatever somewhere else?

IMHO it gets more and more difficult to find out about the current status.

- now it says "requires 3.2.1+" - what does that mean?
The beta forum is closed, so I guess there is no public beta currently?

thanks

Thanks I think

I hate itunes and it's method of displaying artists and arranging music, so I would prefer to keep itunes hands and eyes off of my hard drive. I let itunes sync any purchased apps and thats about it.

everything else associated with my Itouch has been done via media monkey

You can always use iTunes to sync with the iPod Touch, if you want to sync with MediaMonkey you will need to wait till version 3.2.2 is out for support of iOS4.

This can aid in using iTunes: http://mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=45713

thanks !!

I think that I understand some things a bit better..

next question....is there a way to get music that was ripped onto an external hard drive using media monkey onto my I touch?

or do I need to wait until the OS upgrade comes out?
