OK. Let's hope then that makes it easy for the Devs to reproduce. Because now that my sync is converting and levellling, this bug can cost hours on my 1700-track sync.

Thanks again NH.

Yes, definitely.

I don't think so. Probably I just never noticed it before.
chrisjj wrote:Does this depends on how far play reaches through the track?
Playcount is only incremented when you listen to the end of the track. You can skip some of the track by using the seekbar; I think in that case you need to listen to at least 1/3 of the track for the playcount to increase.

NH, I wonder if the variability you see is due to whether the playcount is incremented. Does this depends on how far play reaches through the track?

If I auto-sync an MSC device (USB_Mass1.DLL), play the tracks in the library and auto-sync, MM erroneously resends the played files.

This has been confirmed by NH http://mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 93#p269693 and CJJ on SUBST drive http://mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 99#p269699.

CJJ has probably seen the same on MTP but this is unconfirmed.

EDIT: NH confirms on MTP:
