Same problem with ITouch. So sick of ITunes, but everything I try to sync my music with ends in a "sync with ITunes Pagan" message.
Makes my library unusable. I would be willing to buy a gold code, but what the point if I am strong-armed into using ITunes anyway.

I was having the same problem with my 3GS on 3.2.4. I found 3.2.5 this evening and upgraded (I also upgraded to the latest iOS, 4.3.4, but I suspect that is a red herring).

So far the problem seems to be resolved.

I have been having the same problems. It seems to happen only when your i-Phone is connected to WiFi. Possibly I-tune apps updater interfering ??

if I allow I-tunes to start up when i connect the i-phone, it fails to sync due to a problem with not recognising file type ? However if you right click on i-phone in the left panel and pick sync from the drop down box it backs up and syncs OK.

I am away from my music hard drive at the moment and have not tried syncing with MM vers. 3.2.5. 1306.

I also use the EQu app which still plays all my music even after the i-pod displays the sync required message.

Nearly July, and still nothing from MediaMonkey about this problem? It is absolutely insane.

My workaround was to just keep my iPod app open, but today even that stopped working.

Maybe there are some specific apps causing trouble? Ones I've been using a lot lately:
eBay
Instagram
Photoshop Express

Anyone else with this problem using any of those?

I can't reproduce that issue with 3.2.5, or the current MM4.0 build.

When moving losless music to my iphone (therefore requiring conversion) the issue occurs - it can be fixed by either:
1) Sync with itunes
2) move a non-compressed piece onto the phone via MM

Is there a fix in the MM software for this?

I get that message all the time. Here's what works for me...

Play one of the songs on your ipod using Media Monkey. In other words, change the directory from the music library on your computer to the music library on your ipod. Then it updates the library and everything is back to normal.

I have a similar problem; it looks to be random; maye if I delete an app or, like today, I connected my ipod to another wi-fi I get that sinc. message. It's very annoying actually but i can't tell if it is a mm problem, an itunes problem or an ipod OS problem.

That's not been my experience with iPhone 4. In fact, I never observed that problem.

For my problem (see above) I found a work around:

Sync iPhone with MM. Start iPod-App immediately after sync, then you get the message (building up the media library [in german]) and the media-lib is ok. I don't know, how large the time frame is to start the iPod-App - I think one or two minutes.

Adding an App via App Store or updating an App will destroy the media-lib - so you have to sync again.

I did as advised above. cleared me iPhone, reloaded music using MM. Started iPod App and got the same message.
When i synch with itunes the the iPod app works, and works fine. if the last sync was with MM when the iPod is shut down it will post the same message.
I have all the latest software: itunes10.2.2; MM 3.2.5 and iPhone 4.3.2
That is my experience!!

We have not been able to replicate any problem. If you can, please try to clear your device and resync with the latest MM version. If there is still a problem, contact us via the eSupport link at the top of the page, so we can collect some more info about the problem.

I have MM 3.2.5 and had the same problem when I first started using MM 3.2.5 and iOS 4.3.1. After I sync with MM, try to open ipod app with iphone still conected to PC - got that meassge, so i did sync with iTunes but the changes from MM were lost. SO I tried again, this time disconnected iphone from PC the it worked. Changes from MM remained. I downloaded new Apps to the phone still worked. Then on my way to work got that same message. That led me to this forum. I dont c meself using itunes for my music. I might just have to go back to the old iOS before 4.3 for iphone.

I got home, did a sync with MM not itunes and my songs are back on. Then I shut down ipod when still docked and linked to the PC and the message popped up again. Did another sync with MM, songs are back on.
Worked fine.

Looks like once the sync is over and u open ipod and it works with MM music all is good, but when u close the ipod app the message will pop up again!

How did you guys find the problem?
