1. There were some issues with lost settings in the upgrade from MM3 to MM4, but otherwise any 4.x -> 4.x upgrade should retain all of your settings.

2. This problem was discussed before but it isn't clear how to reproduce the issue. There is an easy fix, just open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MediaMonkey\StatusBars, close MM, and change all REG_DWORD entries to 1. Then re-open MM and see if it makes any difference.

Some settings are lost on 3.x to 4.x upgrade. Some of this was fixed with 4.0.2, but that only works from 3.x to 4.0.2. Other settings can't be used due to underlying changes in MM4.

Long time goldmember here.

How's about this program KEEP THE DARNED SETTINGS from one version to the next when I upgrade?

It seems to forget ALL auto-organize type settings (i.e. file structure & name), RIP settings, file monitor settings, etc., EVERY TIME.

Also, any else notice that the file monitor setting causes the bottom of the screen to jump up and down a lot while it finds sonds to "ADD" (even if it really isn't ADDING anything, but just seeing what it already knows?). Unacceptable.
