Interesting I have seen it once taht some other app created Music folder on SD card and MMA was not allowed to access till whole SD card was not allowed to access and Music folder was deleted fro SD card (similar to moving you have done).

Let us know if it happen again.

But I think now need to resync with my PC so I can get my star ratings back. :(

Which also means I've lost all the changes since my last sync. :x :evil:

OK, I think I've sorted it.

I moved all the music from the "Music" folder, and now MM is happily repopulating the Genre/Artist/Album/etc tiles. (I moved it using the phone's built-in file manager and only took a second.)

Ok, I won't worry about not seeing the artwork.

However I still have the issue where the music (or perhaps the metadata of my music) on the phone's SD card has suddenly disappeared.

I just tried renaming the Music folder, and then adding that as a folder that MM should scan, but that didn't work.

What other steps can I try to fix this?

The music on my SD card doesn't show up in the library under the Artist/Album/genre tiles etc.

The music is stored in the Music folder in my SD card, which is listed as one of the 'Library folders' that MM knows contains media.

I [b]can[/b] browse the SD card (and play the music) via the "Folders" tile in MM. 👍

I'm on the latest version of MM. I've cleared cache/data, restarted and checked for new/changed media. All I get in MM is what's in my phone internal memory. :(

What to do next?
