Hi,
I personally use Mixed in Key https://mixedinkey.com/, but you can also use https://www.abyssmedia.com/bpmcounter/ which can be learned to be fairly accurate and rescan files after TAG UPDATE.

Hi BlueMusicFan,

FooBar 2000 has a BPM tool. You simply drag a selection of files to Foobar, select ALL right click then BPM Analyser then Automatically Analyse. To confirm just click update files.

This works with MMW4 and MMW5.

If - in MMW5 - the folder is not set to scan automatically, you may need to rescan to see the results. In my experience you should do this when not much else is going on! Don't be analysing volume or playing any of the files.

Others have questioned to accuracy of the Foobar analysis.

Use a Collection to view files with no or low BPM e.g. "Type Equal Music / BPM <= 1" OR "BPM is unknown"

Hope this helps.

I totally wish bpm analysis was a feature in MM... or an add-on...
any hopes of that happening?
