It looks like you [url=https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Playback_Rules#Introduction_to_Collections]disabled the Devices & Services node[/url] in the Media Tree.

I cannot find [i]Device Profile[/i] which I appear to need to set up Auto-sync.
I've been to Tools > Options, but there's no option for Device Profile.

Send to, sends the selected files to the device, thus can cause duplicates. If you don't want duplicates you need to use [url=https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Exporting_Tracks#Auto-Sync]Auto-Sync[/url] instead.

As far as both folders and just files, you may have changed how files are Synced in the past. Send To doesn't fix this, but [url=https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Exporting_Tracks#File_Locations]Auto-Sync can enforce the mask[/url], which renames/moves files already on the device.

It's not just one file, one album, or one artist.

PHONE: The screenshot below shows files in a folder by artist, and a folder for each album.

PC: This screenshot lists files by artist only. No subfolders.This is how I'd like it on my Android phone. I could live with the folders, but it's the duplication that annoys me.

* Connect by USB
* In MMW, in the left hand menu, select All files > Send to > (select phone)
* Leave it to run
* MMW build 2024.2.0.3184

Can you please tell us how exactly do you Sync and which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using to Sync?

I have an issue with the way Media Monkey performs syncs.

DUPLICATES
When I sync all files, MM will copy the tracks across into a folder for the artist (as I have structured for Win 11), then create folder for the album. I'm running the sync using USB, as there are over 10,000 tracks to check and will probably kill WiFi.

1) Is there any setting I can use to stop this happening?
2) Do I have to change my library structure to fit with Media Monkey? (Seems like tail wagging the dog).

* I'm having a problem posting an image: despite following the instructions on attaching screenshots, it appears I'm not allowed to. The error message offers a workaround, and I followed that, but it still wouldn't let me post.
