Which version of wi-fi or which band you're using shouldn't matter. Your router should be able to route traffic between all of them.

For troubleshooting please start here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ccessible/

The 2 common problems are wi-fi not allowing to see other devices (common on guest wi-fi) and the Windows Firewall not allowing MediaMonkey to communicate to devices on the network.

now I have a new issue with wireless synching.......My phone is now 6g wireless and I cannot change it back to 5g. So I change my laptop to 6g and still no deal. My laptop will not recognize my phone.

I am sure once I get my laptop to see my Motorola Razr+, MM will see it too.

I am getting no help from my internet provider and am at a loss. Motorola sucks too. This should not be that tough. If I can change my router to 2.4 ghz to 5 ghz, then why can't I force it back to 5 ghz. EERO routers and help both suck. They forced me to 6ghz with no way to go back to 5ghz.

Anyway my question, I am still one version back on MM. Does the new version of MM address anything regarding 6ghz?

I had the same issue with my Motorola Razr+ so I began using the wireless synch feature and it works great! Faster too.
I should mention that I am not using the latest version of MM. I will install that in about a year!
