What do you mean by "capture the startup". If you meant using DebugView (dbgview), I attached that log file to the ticket.

This is how I can I reproduce the issue every time:

1. Rename %APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\persistent.json to %APPDATA%\MediaMonkey5\persistent.json.old
2. Start up MM2027
3. Switch to the CodeMonkey skin. MM2027 reloads and it loads just fine
4. However, if I then shutdown MM2027 and upon start up, the play button appears abnormally large, until I choose another skin and MM2027 reloads.

I opened Ticket #18216 and attached both persistent.json and persistent.json.old

I'm unable to reproduce this. It loads as expected on first load.

Can you please rename [url=https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/knowledge-base/mediamonkey-install-config/modifying-the-mediamonkey-db-and-ini-files/]persistent.json[/url] to persistent.json.old and try this again? You'll need to select Code Monkey as Skin again. Does the problem repeat?

If the issue is resolved, can you please attach the old persistent.json.old to a [url=https://www.mediamonkey.com/support]Support Ticket[/url] for analysis?

It is all the skins from the addon page on mediamonkey.com (which, aren't those all vetted by the MM team before they are allowed to be listed on the addons page?). They all worked fine in MM5. And in MM2027, they also work fine, just not upon initial startup.

So, this new issue in MM2027 is just with 3rd party skins then (which was not present in MM5). It is weird that it is only an issue upon initial startup, and if you change skins the player bar appears just fine.

Yes, Material Design is the default Skin and created by Ventis Media.

Tools > Options > Skins does not show a "default" skin as an option. If the default skin is named "Material Design", that skin seems to function properly upon initial startup.

Lowlander - It behaves that way with every other skin I have tested too. I can check the default skin, but can you remind me how I can change back to the default skin?

MM 2027.0.0.3516 player bar does not load properly upon initial startup

For example, using the Code Monkey Skin:
