You can switch between full screen and full size using pinch/zoom (or Ctrl+wheel using mouse).

MediaMonkey for Win8 (Metro): Video apsect issue

Issue: Videos playing are constrained to smaller than viewable area dimensions.
Example: Acquired a HD video with a resolution 1440 x 1080.
Converted to a smaller resolution, maintaining the aspect ratio using Handbrake (on the Universal setting).
Viewed on any PC, the aspect ratio appears the same 16:9. Using the default Video app on windows 8/RT - the video is displayed full screen. When displayed in MediaMonkey, the video retains the aspect ratio of 16:9, but doesn't fill the screen, instead it constrains the displayed video to most likely, the actual dimensions of the video (720x 540), leaving black borders beneath and to the left and right of the video.
