MMA only retrieves Artwork when playing a file if the file doesn't have Artwork associated. If you didn't sync directly from MMW to MMA then Android Media Scanner picks up the Artwork from files or Artwork files. This means you'll need to have Artwork properly tagged prior. MMW is good at helping with this and is even better when used to sync to MMA as it directly updates the MMA database.

Hi Lowlander,

I'm using MMA and I would like to tell MMA to read my own albumart.jpg files.
SO, in the beginning, I had my audio files and MMA scanned automatically to find the pic (on the internet I suppose).
However, it did not find all the time and also, it found files with no connection with the audio file it searched for and so, I 'm now really disappointed with this MMA functionnality.
So, I would like (manually not with sync) either to replace the existing albumart by my own albumart files or add my own albumart files
Could you help me to proceed please ?
