What version is your ChromeOS?
My Lenovo c330 would not access ext drives in MM either until my Chromebook was updated to Version 72 & it now reads the drive though to slow for my liking & it is a USB 3 drive.
I see it has been awhile since MediaMonkey for Android has been updated.
I loaded the same ext drive with the same amount of music into Pulsar Music Player & it read the drive very quickly.

So you might want to see what version of OS your Chromebook is running.

Recenlty bought Chromebook and MMpro cant see my HD

Good evening. I have an ASUS chromebook. I recently bought MM pro for android. The chromebook can see my HD. I can play movies and music off of it with the android media player. When I try to add the HD to the MM library however, it doesn't even see the HD. I tried an inferior app I grabbed for free and it can see the HD. What am I doing wrong with MMpro? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The HD has over 200 gbs of music I would like to have access to.
