I just tested voice controlled playback in Android Auto with MMA 2.1.1 and it's working as it always has.

e.g.
Play The Beatles in MediaMonkey - WORKS
Play Marvel DC playlist in MediaMonkey - WORKS
Play album Abbey Road in MediaMonkey - WORKS
Play 'Artemis fowel' in MediaMonkey - WORKS (this is an audiobook)
Play <GenreName> in MediaMonkey - FAILS

The key is to include 'in MediaMonkey' at the tail end of the request.

Pretty self explanatory - now that MM doesn't work with the voice assistant in android auto, a proper voice search would be invaluable.
