It looks like you have copies with a really short duration. Which copy was added first?

Hi,
Can you ZIP your MM5.DB and supply us DL link in Support Ticket. It is possible that it is something simple like indexes got corrupted and are creating duplicates or something else is in hand.

BTW I noticed that tracks are in Multi Disk albums but are missing Disk #, that can be easily corrected by Tagging from filename those albums like in case of your second picture by using "Disc <Disc #>\<Ignore>"

I rescanned the files into a new library after a reload.

Hi,
Read in my signature how to add image to post.

As for issues you are experiencing, it depends how you proceeded with system reinstall eg. have you saved cricial information like old MM library or you have done plain scan from start.

One we see images we can reply you more directly.

Duplicates created on scanning in files

This problem began a few weeks ago when I did a full reinstall of my windows system. When I scan in files (File -> Add/Rescan files...), it will create duplicates of tracks (sometimes all, sometimes most). Those duplicates are of short length - 1-3 seconds.

This doesn't happen every time, but when it does it's difficult to clean up as deleting them from the database sometimes leave the "real" files unplayable.

I have checked that there aren't duplicate files in the directory being scanned:

Any ideas?

Sorry, looks like the screenshots didn't make it.
