Yes, that will be ok in MM 2.2 (alpha version to be released very soon).

MM v2.1 build 1.596 on XP SP1

Can access Album Properties using Right-Click or Shift-Enter and text can be typed into Album Comment field. However, when dialog box is closed all text is lost.
