Re: Weird happenings when I push Ctrl-A
After all these years with MM, you'd think I could handle simple instructions. So I went to the website you stipulated ( http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11965 ) and it said the problem was fixed with Build 1703. So, does that mean it will be fixed upon the next release? And that I need...

Re: Weird happenings when I push Ctrl-A
Thanks for the reply. Another helpful reply from Lowlander. The only problem is, where do I get 1703 or higher. I just reinstalled MM with hopes it would be 1703 or higher, and I got 1692.

Weird happenings when I push Ctrl-A
I just know this is goiung to be something simple that I have missed, but, in any case. For some reason, recently, when I want to highlight a group of tracks to manipulate in some way, I do as I have always done and high;light one of the tracks then press Ctrl-A to highlight them all. Then when I go...

Re: How to get larger art on Discogs?
dBPoweramp allows any size you stipulate. I just hate going to multiple steps. Discogs is great except for the one flaw with Album Cover size.

Re: How to get larger art on Discogs?
The "large" covers I've gotten using Discogs are 370x370. Standard CD size is 500x500, though some get files even larger from second parties or from the record labels. Mog, rest its soul, had 800x800. And the record companies often release huge covers over 3000x3000

How to get larger art on Discogs?
I love Discogs and all it brings to the party, except for one small problem. I prefer much larger album art (1000x1000 or more). I can't figure out any way to get Discogs to pull a picture anywhere near that. Is there any solution that would allow me to still do everything in one step with Discogs? ...

room correction software as a plugin.
I'm trying a plugin in another program that I like very much. The plugin is called Audiolense. This is way oversimplified, but it is somewhat similar to Audyssey or Dirac in that you use a calibrated microphone and take measurements from the speakers and it provides a file that inverts the frequency...

Re: Plugins for room management
It seems that Winamp does have a few plugins that are very simplistic, nothing at all as complex as Audiolense.

Re: MediaMonkey for Win 8 / RT FAQ
I easily got it to work by creating a directory on the system drive, adding that directory to the system Music Library, deleting the directory, then making a symlink from that directory to my music directory on the removable drive Sounds like a great idea, only I have no idea how to accomplish your...

Re: MediaMonkey for Win 8 / RT FAQ
I have installed this and it looks gorgeous BUT, for some reason it has not found my music. I had a couple of albums accidentally on my system drive, but almost all of my music is on two other drives. I had assumed this would have at least made use of my MM4 database, but it seems to have ignored it...

Re: can I have the album name automatically generated by
I knew how to use the auto tag from file name, but, just in case I'm not the only dummy out there, I never knew you could specify the entire line. That's where I got tripped up. I thought you could only specify back to the first "\" Don't ask me where I dredged that incorrect fact. Anyway,...

can I have the album name automatically generated by
I have all these Grateful Dead shows where they are in a folder that properly names the album, for instance "Grateful Dead Live at Barton Hall, Cornell University on 1977-05-08" but the album name in MM is blank, or worse, is listed as "Added 2008-12-21 17-26" Is there any way fo...
