A MonkeyRok port please. :)
It's hard to live without once you've been using it.

Re: Path Not Found

It's Trixmoto's Backup script. probably located hereat: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts or C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts If you run the backup manually, do you get that error? I always had trouble with the "Auto backup on shut...

What I would suggest, if you want to find your locations super fast, is to install Everything, which is a search engine for your computer. In fact, you don't even have to install it. You can get the standalone version if you want.

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

I think you might find that many users manually restore, as Restore.vbs has been troublesome. Double click MediaMonkey.reg to add the data to the Registry. Copy and replace MediaMonkey.ini to either C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey or C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey. Jus...

Re: Remember Add Artwork Directory

I keep my artwork in an "Artwork" sub-folder to keep my tracks tidy.
I also have an "Info" sub-folder where I keep my ripping logs, tagging information etc.

It's a lot tidier this way instead of mixing it all with your tracks. :)

Re: Experience ripping a large number of CD's for MM?

I do however apply level 3 compression to the FLAC files, which doesn't alter the quality of the FLAC (it's still lossless), but gives the best bang for buck, for filesize V Processing Time/load. The compression level doesn't alter the quality of the FLAC files. It just compresses the file more the...

Re: No Easy Way

There is no easy way, in my opinion. Especially if you are fussy about good, accurate tagging (including lyrics) and quality artwork (front, back, media label etc.), which I am. The ripper I use is dBpoweramp CD Ripper. And yes, lossless is the only way to go. Don't waste all that time with a lossy ...

Re: Monkey Rok 6.2 - Updated 06/07/2014

Hi, Check it in Alpha version and give us feedback where it should be the best to implement, Maybe Trix will port it and we can help him with that. As soon as I get a chance, I'll have a look, Peke. :D I hope there is a chance for it to be implemented natively. But, if an addon is the best we can d...

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

It shouldn't for Added.
Added is only relevant to MM. It isn't relevant to any other player.

I couldn't see any alterations to my tags, but I successfully restored my tracks and kept the MM database info. :)

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

Yes, I am talking about the track's file in Explorer. The date modified.
It shouldn't modify the track's date considering it is only updating the MediaMonkey database (MM.db).

But, as I said, if I restore a backup of my track(s), then all is still good in the MM database.

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 4.3 w/ 253 presets (2011-07-06) [M

Well done, MMFrLife. It's done. I understand it a bit more now after your lessons. The only thing I noticed though is that it altered the track's file date also. I don't know what it changed about the track. But, I just replaced the affected tracks with my backups, and the Added date still holds. Th...
