Re: Major major request - server/client functionality

I am so happy to hear functionality like this being included in version 4. I too would prefer not to install numerous fragmented applications to manage, share and stream my media throughout the home. I'm also glad to see that standards like DLNA and UPnP are being included. One question I have is wi...

Auto Sync vs Manual Sync

I've been using MM 3.x for a while now and thoroughly enjoy it. One rather noob question I have is what are the key differences between auto sync and manual sync? It seems auto sync works best for my needs, but I'm trying to figure out how each option works and when one might better than the other (...

Re: Keep a close eye on "Wolfram Alpha"

Although promising, it's still limited in some key ways. It appears the algorithms make some pretty strong assumptions about the user input. For instance, I tried a couple of books that were also re-created as movies, such as I Am Legend. The Wolfram results were related only to the movie. Nothing w...

Re: Faster ripping speed

I have to say that sounds surprising because I've been ripping CD's on MM for a few weeks now, and it usually takes about 3 - 5 minutes with a CD having 10 - 15 tracks (about 3 - 5 minutes per track). I'm ripping to MP3 at a 320 bitrate.

Re: How to associate files to automatically rip CD

Aside from a full system restore/installation, has anyone found another solution to this issue? It certainly doesn't stop me from ripping CD's using MM, but it is kinda annoying... :-?

Re: Sync with Google Android

Yep, I was able to sync to the MicroSD card on the G1. The default music player on the G1 appears to recognize the information fairly well, including the playlists. Thanks for the input!

Re: Sync with Google Android

When I checked the MM wiki for compatible devices, Android phones weren't listed. I also did a forum search for Google Android and received no results making any statements about compatibility. Is Google Android natively supported for synchronization with MM?

Re: Home Theatre Display

Reading through this thread there appears to be a number of options for creating a 10' capability of MM. I would personally like to see MM available via the Windows Media Center interface, which could also be accessed via media extenders. I understand that it would be technically different than My M...

Sync with Google Android

I'm new to MediaMonkey, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. One enhancement I'd like to see is the ability to sync MM with Google Android phones (e.g. the G1). I understand that they are not as popular as the iPhone/Pod/Touch product lines, but it appears they will likely gain popularity this yea...
