Re: MM on XP Pentium III 900 500 MB RAM? Can I?

Just a thought - why not use an older version of MM such as 2.5. At least it was written when resources for running it were more towards XP and earlier.

Re: Saving music and playlists while uninstalling media monk

Many if not most here have a folder named Music or My Music. In this folder will be sub-folders containing your ripped albums. These do not get uninstalled when you remove/repair Media Monkey. If you want to be really safe, create a backup of your music to an external device. As to Playlists, I defe...

Re: Media Monkey and Windows 10

Just loaded MM 4.07 and it works fine in W10-10049. The only issue compared to MM3 (rounded edges in W10-10049, btw) is that the edges are no longer rounded as they were in the prior version of MM and W10-10041. Library conversion was seamless.

Re: Media Monkey and Windows 10

Thanks for moving the topic.
Finally got 10041 loaded so that everything is good in W10. I did find that burning the DVD should be done at 4X rather than 16. Media Monkey is very stable and configured as I wanted it to. Next step is to try using the current version of MM.

Media Monkey and Windows 10

The Technical Preview of Windows 10 is in full testing mode. So far version 10041 works with all of my hardware. What is more important is how it performs with Media Monkey 3.2. (That's not a typo) I prefer the interface and ease of use of this older version for the most part. I do not do video. The...

Re: Can't play version 4

Did you do a complete uninstall of MM4? Are you sure the Registry entries were removed at that time. You are telling us that you are currently running 3.2.5 which will run just fine in Windows 7. You might want to try doing a complete uninstall of 3 using Revo Uninstaller. You will have to rebuild t...

Re: Size of Fonts in MM4.07.1511

Either 3 or 4 work very well on my Win7 Pro machine. I really have no preference between them as to performance.
The latest computers have Athlon II X3 processors and 8 gigs of Ram-so that works with about anything I can toss at it software wise :)

Re: Size of Fonts in MM4.07.1511

RovingCowboy:
Indeed I am. There is a small issue with a white line near the top that goes away when I click on the area where the tabs are. Otherwise, It is working fine. I can undock the Now Playing and Art and move them around still. Color is fine too :)
Hope all are well there.

Re: Size of Fonts in MM4.07.1511

I will check the monitor settings again. However, all seems to be fine now that I have made a minor change as to text size in Win7.
Media Monkey 4 is working as desired now. Thanks for the tip Imagehopper.

Re: Size of Fonts in MM4.07.1511

Thanks Lowlander
This does work as desired. I tried setting to values from 130%-150% and found there is little difference in that range. But the text is much more readable now for me at 130.
Please consider this question resolved :D

Size of Fonts in MM4.07.1511

I would like to be able to enlarge the size of the text in the panes. Some other programs I use have this attribute and can be adjusted "on the fly". (example is Facebook in Firefox). My monitor is an Acer V193W running on Windows 7 Pro SP-1. The size is much smaller than what I had in MM3...

Re: MM and CCleaner: settings are sometimes deleted.

Ccleaner has an options section that you use to specifically exclude programs and or files. I have Media Monkey listed there. Also, be certain to uncheck the program in the cleaning list. This should solve the problem of losing the registration and other info that you mention for Media Monkey and ot...

Re: Cannot update. Installer stuck.

What version of Media Monkey do you currently have? Have you tried to download the current MM4.07 full install and run it?
