Native dark mode, no skin required
Most of the dark skins that are currently available for MediaMonkey are either outdated or occasionally buggy when minimized/restored. The default no-skin mode of MM is blinding white. I would love it if there were a native dark mode.

A default dark mode for MediaMonkey?
Hello! I am trying to find a way to use the current version (as of this post) of MediaMonkey in a dark mode on Windows 10. Most of the dark skins are outdated, so they render with parts missing or they behave sporadically. When I run it with skinning disabled, the all-white layout is blinding and un...

Re: New script: Big Now Playing
Bump for fixing the Big Now Playing script or implementing a similar playback mode natively in MediaMonkey.

Re: New script: Big Now Playing
Cool, I like it! :D It would be great if you could add an On/Off functionality! This would be a great help. Also, I think Stardock's Windowblinds is making it invisible (although I can probably fix that by adding the script as an exception, maybe?). But yes, it has definitely been a boon whe...

Re: Initial Key
Also, if a user's files have this information in them from another program (Mixed in Key, Rapid Evolution 2 or 3, Mixmeister, Virtual DJ, etc.), why not take advantage of it? There are probably AutoDJ plugins that could use this info to improve the overall flow of a generated playlist.

Re: Initial Key
I would also like to have Key and Keycode as field options. The key of a song is often just as important as BPM or Mood.

Simplified full screen now playing/control
I thought there was something like this for MM, but I don't seem to be able to find it, so I'm asking. Is there an add-on for MM that is similar to party mode (full screen, no modifications), but which simplifies things even further, only showing the Artist, song Title (oversized so it can be seen f...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?
And not just Ubuntu, but Linux in general. I've tried just about all of the Linux ones - Amarok, Banshee, Ex Libris, Listen, Audacious - and I keep coming back to Rhythmbox. But the things that I wish Rhythmbox had (Magic Folder drag and drop, customizable sorting and tagging scripts) are the things...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?
Hey, lads, it is not easy to port MediaMonkey to other platforms as version 3 stands the way it stands now. There are some requirements that need to be done first: Change the Trident (IE based) browser for any of the other free ones like WebKit (Safari, Chrome) or Gecko(Firefox) Change the scriptin...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?
Approaching this from more of a Linux users' frame of mind...I think that the best way to get some forward motion on this would be if there were volunteers to start converting the code. I would volunteer myself, but I don't know much about coding yet, let alone Python.

Requested: A Script to Export Playlist as .TXT
After trying several different methods to extract the contents of a playlist to a text file that would require minimal to no editing, I guess the best way to accomplish this would be a script. I just want to be able to export the contents of the Now Playing window to a plain text file in a format li...

Re: Multiple Artists, ';' separator, etc. - discussion
I was looking for a good place to write this so it doesn't get away from me. I think there should be some sort of method to specifically designate field data as a Proper Name (as in the exact name of the artist or act, for want of a better term) and therefore ineligible for automatic modification. I...

Re: Compactstick - the real successor of CD?
Lowlander has a point, downloading is a far superior method for digital music. Internet speeds are getting faster as time goes on, Hard Drives getting larger. The only thing this new format would offer is a compromise between completely digital and the CD format in that you have a digital version o...
