Disable "Now Playing" background pictures & always on top?
How do I disable this background pictures feature? I don't want to look at random pictures when playing music (yes, some of the pictures are truly random and have nothing to do with the band or music in general). I want to see the list of songs like in MM4. Also, why is MM5 always on top by default?...

Re: Play from Windows Explorer slow [#12838]
Just tried this on win10 and it was within a second or 2 .. pretty sweet. This is when mmw was not running .. With mmw running an playing it appears to still be taking 25+ seconds for a track to start playing or to be added to playlist Using 1830 Can confirm. Windows Explorer even stops responding ...

Re: Volume level display/control & other small stuff
Obviously I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about wanting it the way it is in MM4.dtsig wrote:simply hover over the slider and scroll the wheel .. seems to work fine

Volume level display/control & other small stuff
Right now when you increase/decrease the volume, the volume level isn't displayed. In MM4 it was displayed above the seek bar (where the song title is). Can you add that back? In MM4, you could also control the volume by moving the cursor to the bottom part of MM (controls/seek bar/song title area)...

Re: Monitoring folders and add/rescan is v/slow in 4.1.12.17
Portable MediaMonkey on SSD. Music on 5400RPM HDD. Added ~5000 files to database from the same directory and optimized DB. Methodology: - Start MediaMonkey; - Press "Ins" (the directory with those ~5000 files selected); - Click "OK". 4.12 -> 3s / 3s / 3s 4.13 -> 1m36s / 1m33s / 1m33s That's not a ty...

Re: Monitoring folders and add/rescan is v/slow in 4.1.12.17
I don't see this (4.1.13). Have you recently run File > Maintain Library with complete optimization? Yes, I have. Also what node is selected in the Media Tree (how many files shown) as I did it with no files shown in the Filelisting. Doesn't make a difference. My library has ~20'000 files, if it ma...

Monitoring folders and add/rescan is v/slow in 4.1.12.1799
Like the title says, monitoring folders and the add/rescan function are very slow in the latest build (4.1.12.1799). The problem is not present in the previous build (1798) Installing 4.1.12.1799 in an SSD makes the process faster but still considerably slower than build 1798 on a regular HDD. Can r...

Re: Distorted sound while seeking with smooth seek enabled
Are you sure that you have installed latest drivers from realtek site. Also it is known that on some card chips due the software interpolate setting of 96/24 and higher can make problems with buffer clearing. I have 4 PCs and all have Realtek cards, 2 have 889 Chips, 1 892 chip and one that have th...

Re: Distorted sound while seeking with smooth seek enabled
Nope, I still get the bug in 4.1.12.1790 RC, even with DLNA/UPnP enabled or disabled from what I gather. Turns out it was just a coincidence. I didn't run into it at the time when I first tested it but it's still here. MM development has become all about synchronization and other features I don't c...
