Re: MM automatically reset to default settings, Why?/How?

Thanks for posting that info, but my registry was correct.

I do have several programs such as CCleaner but did not run any of them in that time frame. I have been using the cleaner programs for a year now and haven't had any problems.

MM automatically reset to default settings, Why?/How?

Saturday I opened and used MM and all was normal. Nothing out of the ordinary done, just listened to a few tracks. Sunday I opened MM and all settings had been set back to default as if I'd never been to MM before, although it still had me automatically logged in. So far, it seems all music is still...

Re: What Target Volume Levels for Increasing Output?

It's ironic that you use wave files for lossless quality, but if you want to change the volume permanently, then your wave files will no longer be lossless (when compared to the source). I use WaveGain to permanently change the volume (not the compression) of my wave files. You're saying that this ...

Re: Audiophile digital music setup

-For cleanest sound, don't use internal computer DAC, send the signal out with a usb cable. -A dedicated outboard DAC or a high end A/V receiver with a usb input is best. If no usb input available on the DAC, then use a usb-spdif converter (digital coaxial is generally considered cleaner sounding th...

Fixed!

It's working!!!
Thanks. I forgot that I used Trial Pay for the upgrade.
While trying to upgrade I was using my MM username, but I needed to use my Trial Pay username which was different.
So it was a problem with the username not the key #.

old lic key won't upgrade to gold with MM reinstall

My license key won't upgrade me to gold on my new reinstall of MM. Gold was running fine with old hard drives. I've just installed new hard drives and reinstalled all apps. Reinstalled MM ver 3.2 and is running fine, but when I put in my old key to upgrade to the gold standard, it tells me 'key is i...

Re: Remote Control of Media Monkey

Firely from SnapStream Media will control the basics (pause, play, fast forward, reverse, skip, back). The Firefly is a remote control and an IR receiver (which plugs into a USB port). No software to download, just plug the IR receiver into the computer and it works. I had my Logitech Harmony remote 'lea...

Re: What Target Volume Levels for Increasing Output?

Ok, Thanks Guys, I've got them all set at 100 and I do level during the burn. Why? Because I'm copying classical music and if there's one thing that varies a bunch on some classical cd's is the leveling. This music was meant to be listened to in a concert hall with good acoustics and everyone very ...

Re: problems upgrading from ver3.1 to ver3.2

PROBLEM FIXED!!! I decided to give it one more try before going to bed. I had been installing MM into Drive D (which is where I install all my programs, even the original MM ver3.1) instead of Drive C. Well, this time I thought I'd let it install into the default Drive C and see what happens. It wor...

Re: problems upgrading from ver3.1 to ver3.2

The MM program has been totally uninstalled, the registry has been cleaned with CCleaner, computer rebooted, MM reinstalled, computer rebooted again, still no joy, still same message. I have gone th...

problems upgrading from ver3.1 to ver3.2

I'm trying to upgrade from MM gold version 3.1 to gold 3.2 that will hopefully cure a few problems with playback. PROBLEM #1 At the end of the installation wizard for ver3.2 it asks to launch MM and I tell it to do so and it does launch ver3.2, but when MM was closed and then opened again, it would ...
