Re: Possible to "Never Play" zero star ratings?
Simply delete the file from the library while leaving it on the computer - both problems solved.

Re: UNINSTALLED MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1459
Some settings due to changes will be lost from MM3 to MM4, the database can be lost when a custom DB location was used in MM3 (just setup the custom DB location again in MM4 to fix this). ALL SETTINGS DUE TO CHANGES WERE LOST - NOT SOME, ALL. DB was NOT lost, merely re-configured for use with MM4; ...

Re: UNINSTALLED MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1459
Not only would it not import my license info, it wouldn't keep it from launch to launch. BTW, I have fallen back to 3.2.5.1306 and have used the same settings and do not have to put up with extended 'reading tracks' delays. I'm sure it's just my system or something I've done or haven't done or I don...

Re: UNINSTALLED MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1459
No, just a normal install like I always do. A lot of versions have come down the pike in the last 5 years and I didn't do anything different than always. MM 4 didn't recognize any previous install and didn't import my Gold Key.

UNINSTALLED MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1459
MediaMonkey Gold - Lifetime License Delivery date: 28-OCT-2006 And I've had enough. Enough of re-entering my Gold License Key because MM no longer remembers it. Enough of waiting endlessly for the 'reading tracks' bs to go away, even though I've changed every setting possible. I totally destroyed my...

Re: MM4 - Worst upgrade ever
Worst upgrade ever - Oh, Yeah - It is a MAJOR pain in the ass. All media imported well enough and imported is a very accurate word. You would think that this was a brand new install of an application that had never been seen before. Seemed to take forever to build the new version database. I have to...

MM Steals Focus on Start-up.....
...everytime. I have even gone to the extreme of using TweakUI and manually checked 'Prevent applications from stealing focus' but noooo, MM is more powerful and insistent. MediaMonkey 3.2.5.1306 on a PC, Win XP Pro SP3.

Cannot change priority in task manager
I just installed 3.2.5.1306 and now find that I cannot change the priority for MM in task manager. I run XP Pro, have always given MM above normal priority and have never encountered this problem. Suggestions are appreciated.

Re: How Many Songs Can MediaMonkey Hold?
I read a post somewhere in the last couple of days where this guy has over 400,000 songs that he is managing with MM. All I can say is WOW.

Report to Excel runtime error
When attempting to export the track list (11,577 entries) to an Excel file, the operation always fails. I receive two error messages. Error Msg 1 Error #1004-Microsoft VBScript runtime error Unknown runtime error File: "F:\Program Files\MediaMonkey3 Beta\Scripts\Export.vbs", Line:443, Colu...

Is there a way to get MM to follow the list in Duplicate Files? I don't think so... You can enqueue a number of ways, one way is simply to select the tracks and press enter.. Just did not understand the term, I use the right click function all the time; I tried Edit/Select All/Enter and that worked...

the player plays whatever is in the 'now playing' list... it does not play the node you have selected... you must enqueue the files you want.. also, you may want to ensure that 'auto-dj' or other scripts (like scrobbler dj etc) that auto enqueu tracks are off. and lastly, make sure that 'shuffle' m...

MM3 Will Not Follow Playlist
When working in Files to Edit, Duplicate Files; as I am going through the list, when reaching the end of a file, MM does not play the next file in the list. For some reason, it seems to jump to a random file. I have tested this with a file of short duration and the ensuing file is always different. ...

Re: One session -- Three crashes
Hi. Is that a clear installation or you have some "third-party" scripts/plugins ? The disc where your tracks persists is local drive, network or USB disc ? This is a clear install, straight out of the box, in its own directory. I am using Blue Glass skin. The G:\ drive is drive 1 and is a...

One session -- Three crashes
Let's start with an interesting note, prior to 3.0.2.1129_Debug.exe, MM would not auto generate a debug report (at least for me). In reporting the earlier problems I used a debug capture as recommended by MM. This problem has been ongoing. Because I do a lot of deleting and moving of files from a dw...
