Re: Sync ONLY playlists
Yes, I used MMW Gold 4.1.6 or later from Windows 7 to my Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) where I use PowerAMP Full as my media player/manager.

Sync ONLY playlists
I'm doing some cleanup between a phone and two PCs. I have playlists on the phone that I'd like to get onto the desktop PC. But, I don't want to enable a full sync from the phone to PC to get them. I've tried doing a sync with everything except Playlists unchecked but nothing seems to happen.
Ideas?

Re: Injecting (not importing) Playlists
That's great!
I hadn't tried that (recently). Doh!
I may have tried it long ago and that functionality has since been added.
Thanks

Syncing between device and two PCs. (MMW and PowerAMP)
My long term goal is to set up seamless syncing between my desktop PC, phone and laptop. So far, I've only ever synced from computer TO phone. Never reverse. Currently, there are playlists on the phone that I want to *move* to the desktop (not only are the one on the phone more current, the desktop ...

Injecting (not importing) Playlists
MMW 4.1.9 on Windows 7 Home Premium on both a desktop PC and a laptop. PowerAMP Full 2.0.10 on Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop Somehow I have lost my playlists on my desktop. Ultimately, I want to bring playlists from my phone to my desktop PC so that they are 'native'. Not to ...

Yes, Trixmoto, it is "in the package" but WHERE? You didn't answer that.
I found the sqlite3u.dll at C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts.
Using the REGSVR32 command in that folder worked for me.

Documentation? (Moving playlists)
I've used MM since 3.0. I've used Trixmoto's Backup (and other scripts) for a long time too. I'm not aware of there being a User Guide, FAQ, Wiki or other documentation. Have I missed something? Trixmoto has been mostly excellent at providing support for this awesome script. However, he's less respo...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014
It could be that the script is failing to run the helper scripts, but I'd have thought you'd get an error if that was the case. If you edit the "Backup.vbs" script files in a text editor then you can modify line 30... Dim Debug : Debug = False ...to be "True". Then you should ge...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014
I hope I am posting to the correct thread. :) Long time MMW and Backup script user. Built a new box, fresh MMW4 install on Win7 64bit. To set up Backup 6.0 I looked up my config on the other box to get all my paths and such. Couldn't figure out why it would not let me specify the Output Archive path...

Nohitter151: I believe you are referring to: Tools > Options > Portable / Audio Device > [Choose Device] > Configure > Options > Auto Sync > Setting: "Delete Files and Playlists not included in the Auto Sync List from the device" with the sub-option "Confirm Deletion (recommended)&quo...

Previewing sync actions
I'd like to be able to see what MM plans to do for sync actions (add, delete, etc) BEFORE executing the sync. Especially when I've made some major changes and I'd prefer that it not nuke a chunk of my existing music on my device, for example. Is there a setting I can't find or a 3rd party script or ...

Re: Import M3U 3.6 - Updated 17/02/2011
I am a relative neophyte at database 'stuff', but that sounds like it would definitely help. My observation has been that the script was 'getting ahead of itself'. Or maybe falling behind. Either way, making sure that the transaction is complete (committed), before moving to the next, smells right. ...

Re: Backup 5.8 - Updated 27/10/2010
gpbzc - Thank you! I got it. It turns out that the important trick is to NOT try to locate the Archive folder as a subfolder of the Output folder. Your screenshot showed me that you had a parent folder with TWO folders. One that collects the uncompressed backup files (which would, understandably, be...

Re: Backup 5.2 [MM2+3]
I had posted: However, now the issue is that I get an error when I backup. "Backup cancelled because output folder already exists." Well, of course it exists! I had to specify it for "output path". Since this field uses a *browse* feature, you can only specify a folder that EXIST...
