Re: Sharing playlists over Spotify

I used MM's standard option to export a playlist to an .m3u playlist. Then I used a random website that can import a .m3u playlist into Spotify. I did not like having to give my Spotify password to that website in order for it to work though, so I decided to use their tool and immediately after I ch...

Re: can no longer burn CD's

Out of pure curiosity: why would you want to burn a CD nowadays? I used to do it a lot when rental cars still came with CD players and without bluetooth a decade ago, but I haven't needed CD's for many years now. So I'm curious to know why you are still burning CD's?

I never did a rescan after editing in Serato. That seems like a good idea.

Serato DJ & MMW disagree on comments field

Hello people, For well over a decade I've been on WWM and have always loved it ever since I started using it. I did just notice that some people are posting issues with WWM on this forum, but my MMW is running rock solid. I guess that is because I'm using 4.1.25.1895 and rarely update WWM. The only ...

Re: How to rate songs?

Interesting. What do you do when you get new music and it happens that there is a new 5 star song? Will you rate a former favorite down? Exactly that; if a new song is released that I love so much that it deserves 5 stars then another song will get demoted. Actually I would like to have a script th...

How to rate songs?

Here is my current way of rating songs: 5 stars: maximum 15 songs 4 stars: maximum 135 songs 3 stars: maximum 300 songs 2 stars: maximum 1550 songs And here's how I came up with this: A while ago I noticed that my library's rating system did not make a lot of sense. In the past fifteen years that I ...

@bigcebo:
MM is not very suitable to DJ with. There are plenty of softwares better suited for DJing (VirtualDJ, Serato DJ, Traktor, Mixxvibes Cross, etc, etc) that will help you suggest tracks based on musical key, bpm and other criteria.

I just downloaded this Metro skin for my Surface Pro 3. Could you release this skin in the SP3 type cover colors so MM matches my cyan coloured SP3?

Re: MediaMonkey-Like photo organizer?

Recently, I've started to consider that it would be great to have a MediaMonkey style management for my pictures. I wanted to start a thread, but figured I should search before posting and lo and behold there's already a thread. Bit disappointed though that there is no one replying about a picture m...

Re: LinkedTracks v1.1.1 [MM2+3+4] (TSFKA TiedSongsGroups)

I'm considering to upgrade MM from 4.0.xxxx to 4.1 for synchronisation with MMA. But only if LinkedTracks remains fully functional. Did anyone experience problems with this script after going from 4.0.xxxx to 4.1?

Logic operators in Autoplaylist

Hello there dear forum member, I would like to ask for some help on using some logic operators to build an Autoplaylist. This Autoplaylist needs to contain all of my music that I have not listened to in the last seven days, but not contain tracks that are linked. (I use the DJTiedSongs or LinkedTrac...

Re: LinkedTracks v1.1.1 [MM2+3+4] (TSFKA TiedSongsGroups)

I spent last night and today trying the latest code on page 4 and Einstein's code on page 5...... Hold on there! I'm nowhere near smart enough to create a code like this. I'm barely able of modifying a script. All I intended to do on page 5 was summarise at the (then) end of the discussing thread, ...

InitialKey doesnt work in script

I tried modifying the Swap Artist / Title script to get the song key copied to the Custom 1 field. Running the script I get the error message saying that the object doesn't support property or method: 'itm.InitialKey', though according the table in the wiki InitialKey should be the correct field. Th...

Bummer! I was trying to avoid that, cuz it makes my spreadsheet a little simpler.
Tx for the tip.
