Re: Info about Glided - Discussion
Really strange that the Glided theme is nowhere to be found?!! I'm running MM version 4.1.5.1719 (the current version today) and have a copy of Glided.msz that is working fine with MM. Of course I only use MM for listening to MP3 music, so your mileage may vary. Click the following link is you'd li...

Re: 2 Questions!
Me again . . . I worked out the answers to both questions on my own.
As for Glided.MSZ I found a copy on my wife's PC, and after putting it into my "Skins" folder it seems to work fine. If anyone wants a copy let me know and I'll make it available for download.

2 Questions!
I used MediaMonkey Free sometime back and thought I'd give it another try. Right now I only have 2 questions: - When I delete a title from my playlist (not also from the computer), it still shows in the "Now Playing" list. Likewise if I delete a title from the Now Playing list, it's still ...

Re: Equalizer adding distortion!
I suggest going through the Output Plugin options (Tools > Options > Output Plug-ins) and check that the correct Sound Card is enabled in the used Output Plugin and if that is the case try switching Output Plugin. Here's my output Plugins - I just tested all three and all were distorted with the eq...

Re: Equalizer adding distortion!
Do you perhaps have a different equalizer between MediaMonkey and your speakers (like your sound card or the speaker hardware)? How much higher did you set the equalizer? I don't think there are reports on this (there are problems with distortion while changing the equalizer, but not after it has b...

Equalizer adding distortion!
I have some high frequency hearing loss so normally when I listen to music I use an equalizer to increase higher frequency volume. Unfortunately, the MM equalizer introduces distortion when I do this. I've proven this by turning the equalizer on and off when playing music. Unfortunately, with the eq...

Re: Losing files?
Based on the above quote, I finally realized I was using MM wrong. The problem is now solved, thanks Lowlander!Lowlander wrote:Are you playing a Playlist from the Playlists node in MediaMonkey, the My Computer node or are you opening a Playlist with MediaMonkey from Windows Explorer?

Re: Losing files?
Are you playing a Playlist from the Playlists node in MediaMonkey, the My Computer node or are you opening a Playlist with MediaMonkey from Windows Explorer? I'm not sure what any of that means, but maybe this will help . . . I start MediaMonkey by double clicking on the MM icon which then starts t...

Losing files?
I am using version 4.0.7.1511, unregistered. My playlist consists of a little over 3,000 titles which I play in random order for an hour or so, then not again for another week or two. When I start up the program again, the playlist is VERY slow to load, usually taking 4-5 minutes on a fast PC. What'...

Re: Newbie Questions!
1. That didn't work, even though I know my way around a PC and followed the directions explicitly.
2. That worked - the skin was called "Gilded" and was part of the install.

Newbie Questions!
I've just upgraded my free version of MediaMonkey as part of moving over to a new PC. I've figured out everything except: - Last Date Played has disappeared from my screen - the colume is there but there is no information. How do I recover this? - The old version I was using had a spiffy window at t...

How do I get title number (#) to work?
The title number (#) works fine in the Now Playing list, but not in my main listing for each folder of MP3 music. I do have the # column checked, but this doesn't seem to make any difference. How do I get this column to work in my main listing?
Thanks, MrBill3

XLS vs. XLSX?
According to my copy of Excel 2007, your "Create Reports | Track List (Excel)" is creating excel files in XLSX format rather than XLS format. This is no problem for users with Excel 2007 or later, but I'm not sure about those with earlier versions.
