Re: 2191 - Memory read error on Windows shutdown or restart

Hi, I would suggest that you tell DBGview to LOG to File directly (File -> Log To file as) as that way log file will contain everything before DBGView was closed. I only hope it ill close after MMW throw error. @Peke - Hi, thanks for your guidance with this. Unfortunately, after enabling "File -> L...

Re: 2191 - Memory read error on Windows shutdown or restart

@Ludek - Thanks again for your help with this. It's much appreciated. - does it always appear or it is related to an action that is being performed in MM5 (e.g. playback or a background thread) ? It seems to make no difference whether an action is being performed or not - like MM5 playing a file, or...

Re: 2191 - Memory read error on Windows shutdown or restart

But this is not the day for complaining :-). I wish all the diligent developers and the curious forum users a happy and a good year 2020. Keep on monkeying. Well said BMF :) Happy New Year to everyone, and thanks to all the forum users & developers for the incredible work on MediaMonkey 5 last year...

Re: 2191 - Memory read error on Windows shutdown or restart

Hi, I wonder if there's an open bug report for this issue, that I would be able to follow? Unfortunately, it's still present in MM5.0.0.2219 and it's slightly annoying, because I have to remember to exit MediaMonkey every time I shutdown or restart Windows - otherwise I get this pop-up. Thanks again...

Re: Possible to have scroll to current track feature in Now Playing?

Many thanks! That's great to hear :D

(Update 16.01.2019: Have just upgraded to MM5.0.0.2220 and this is working exactly as expected, with Now Playing view scrolling to the currently active track. Thanks again.)

Re: Possible to have scroll to current track feature in Now Playing?

@Ludek - Thanks for your help. When I mentioned scrolling to the currently playing track, I was expecting this to happen in the list view itself. However, my apologies. I didn't know this functionality was included in the Playing panel. I've never used this panel before - and was unaware it could do...

Re: Possible to have scroll to current track feature in Now Playing?

Hi BMF, (Edited for clarity) - Thanks for the great tip. However, I'd ideally like MM5 to do this automatically, without the need for a keyboard shortcut. There could be a setting in MediaMonkey options to toggle this on or off. My preference would also for this to be isolated to List view, on the N...

Possible to have scroll to current track feature in Now Playing? [#16194]

Hi, I've noticed that when there are track changes in list view (in the Now Playing node), the view doesn't scroll to the currently playing track. I've seen this option called "Scroll to current track" in Cantata, a music player for Linux. Would it be possible to add this to MM5, or have this as an ...

Re: Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail [#15962]

@MiPi & Peke - Thanks again to both of you, for all your help on this thread. I look forward to the next beta of MM5.

(Update: Have just updated to 2201, and exporting playlists from MM5, as well as importing them from iTunes, are working perfectly for me now - thanks!!) :D

Re: Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail [#15962]

@Peke - Thanks again for your explanation for this. I've now learnt another thing from this thread :) I went back to iTunes, and this time exported the playlist I required as an M3U8 file. However, when I scanned this into MM5 (through add/rescan files to the Library), any songs with accents & speci...

Re: Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail [#15962]

Many thanks! I just have one more bug to report, which occurred when I imported an M3U playlist into MM5.0.0.2197. The playlist was exported from iTunes. If the M3U playlist has a song whose file-path contains a letter with an accent or special character in it, MM5 won't import the song in question....

Re: Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail [#15962]

@Peke - Hi, thanks for the extra information re: importing playlists. I've now added my desktop to the list of locations that MM scans for media. So, I can export any playlists I need to the desktop, and they'll get imported into MediaMonkey the next time I do a scan. And they now show up in my Play...

Re: Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail [#15962]

@Peke - Hi, I was looking for an import playlist item in the File menu, and I didn't know you could drag and drop playlists to import them. I've now been able to import a playlist this way, which I exported from iTunes. The imported playlist, though, didn't show up in the Playlist Tree, and an impor...

Re: 2197 - Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail

@MiPi - Thanks again for your help with this, and for opening a bug on this for me.

Can I also ask, if there's a way to import M3U playlists into MediaMonkey5 yet?

Missing ability to export playlist to M3U/XSPF file or send to E-Mail [#15962][#15971][#15976]

Hi, I've recently tried exporting one of my playlists (an AutoPlaylist) to an M3U/XSPF playlist. To do this, I opened the right-click menu for the selected playlist, and chose "Send to -> M3U/XSPF playlist". However, nothing happened when I did this. I got the same lack of response, when I selected ...
