just a suggestion, on homepage the "what others are saying" box changes text far too quickly.i couldn't read half of some things before it changed to the next.suggest slowing change rate to a lot slower...cheers.maybe a trivial thing to you all, i'm not picking, just pointing something out...

i buy cd's, not because the artist makes any more money from it, but because i like the feeling of finding one i have wanted for a long time.ripping it and scanning the pages for the artwork.it's a good day when i add another to my collection!!!!!!!!!!!!ain't nothing like the real thing................

does mm4 portable mode use the drive id?if not you could just copy the whole portable install maybe.im just speculating here.if monitored folders have same path it may not be a problem. if i created a folder inside the mm portable install folder, and monitored that, i should be able to place that mm...

i know using foobar 2000 u can just get a plugin.you also do not need to have i tunes installed, but you need to install "apple mobile device support.msi" .maybe this would be the same for media monkey? what would media monkey need that foobar doesnt? just a thought

As I said originally, I am asking for RE-analysis of all files, even those originally analysed. I guess it could be 'corrupt file' but in that case 99% of my LAME encoded (by MM) MP3s seem to be corrupt, despite burning, playing, and suchlike just fine - it's only volume (re)analysing which doesn't...

try tools/options/volume leveling and uncheck only analyse tracks with unknown leveling adjustment

Nice after uninstalling the scrobbler and reinstalling with "install for current user" unticked, the "Show Log File" button on the options panel finally worked and it also submitted now-playing information as well as it scrobbled correctly. However I miss the first song I played...

Track Volume: It makes sure the track is at 89dB Album Volume: It makes sure the whole Album is at 89dB, this means that a soft track on an Album will still be soft and thus at a lower volume than when using Track Volume. Album Volume is good when you play Albums and you care to preserve the volume...

well how is it normalising volume then?i thought it just modifies the file's overall volume to the setting in the volume leveling preferences.if i have mine set to 89db (which it is), and normalise a file, the track and album volume should both reflect the change to the normalised volume.??????89db ...
