Re: Media Monkey Error

Thanks,

I have a backup from not too long ago, so thankfully I won't lose everything.

database disk image is malformed (11,11)

Hi, I just started getting this error when trying to update a song's properties (it could be any song): There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL statement "UPDATE Songs SET Songpath=?,Artist=? ....." database disk image is malformed (11,11). I've seen reference to this on some ...

Re: Media Monkey Error

I've just started receiving this error whenever I try to update a songs properties. I am using 4.0.6.1501.

I am able to do everything else besides changing the properties. Is there a way to fix this without deleting the database and starting over?

Re: Cannot Access Registry

The Registry is the MediaMonkey.registry file in the Portable folder in the folder you installed MediaMonkey Portable. Did you maybe set File Associations (Tools > Options > OS Integration) especially the re-associate on startup option OK, found that file (MediaMonkey.registry) and tried changing ...

Re: Cannot Access Registry

Thanks, but that didn't work. I moved the c:\Mediamonkey folder to c:\Users\Public but still get the same message. The problem is accessing the registry, not the folders, or is the error message pointing to something else? Or do I need to uninstall and reinstall into that folder?

Re: Cannot Access Registry

Aargh! This is frustrating. After a couple months of this working, all of a sudden today it started up again. I've put the enhancer folder in the Roaming folder as suggested above, but MediaMonkey keeps creating an enhancer folder under the plugins folder in the MediaMonkey folder and I keep getting ...

Cannot Access Registry

Hi, I upgraded to 4.02.1462 and now whenever I start Media Monkey I get the splash screen and a hidden screen saying "Cannot Access Registry". If I manage to close that window, Media Monkey starts fine. I am on win 7 Home Premium 64bit. I have narrowed it down to a DSP plugin (Enhancer 0.17). If I ...

mp3 plays but no sound

Hi, I've got a few mp3 files which appear to be playing (in that the bar that shows the time progress moves along), but no audio comes out. Other mp3s play fine. These troublesome mp3s play fine in WinAmp and VLC. Is there anything I can do to make these play properly in MediaMonkey? I am on version ...
