Re: Moving Files From Network Drive To Local Drive

Just FYI, I finally got the Locate Missing / Moved Files functionality to (mostly) work. MM kept trying to sign into the network share, and I kept cancelling, but I think so long as it saw the device out on the network it refused to acknowledge the files as actually "Missing". I solved tha...

Re: Moving Files From Network Drive To Local Drive

Seems to me there should be an easier way to relocate an entire collection when it is moved or copied with the internal folder structure intact. If the location before was say networkdrive\music which was my folder being scanned, and I want to move everything to C:\users\username\music, is there an...

Re: Moving Files From Network Drive To Local Drive

Definitely did not work. Left MM running for hours - it hung and no dialog ever appeared. I'm thinking about deleting the files copied to the new drive, connecting the new machine to the old network drive, changing my auto-organize string to point to the new internal drive on the new computer, and t...

Re: Moving Files From Network Drive To Local Drive

I tried that yesterday and it didn't seem like it was finding anything. From what I've read, that doesn't actually work. But I could try it again.

Moving Files From Network Drive To Local Drive

Trying to move my library off an aging network drive and onto a local drive on a new PC. Was attempting to follow the instructions here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Adding_Existing_Files_to_the_Library/5.0#Manually_Re-assign_Drive But there doesn't seem to be any way to reassign a "...

Yes. I've kind of given up for now. I can't recall if I ever managed to get the error file to attach or not.

Re: Crash when streaming to remote MediaMonkey

It's definitely happening with FLAC files. Might have hit with an MP3 as well.

Turning off hardware acceleration didn't help.

Crash when streaming to remote MediaMonkey

I've been trying to use MM 5 to stream from my desktop PC (running MM5) to my media PC (running MM5). I'm getting a pair of error messages after a track or two. One pops up in MM5 on the media PC, the other is a general windows app error. The MM error message is "Current audio configuration can...

I'm using MediaMonkey as both the client and the server. I've turned off the DLNA server on the NAS.

Re: DLNA skipping end of (only some) tracks

4.1.28.1905. But I've had the exact same problem with earlier versions when I tried to use the older laptop for this. I blamed the laptop, but obviously that's not the case.

Re: DLNA skipping end of (only some) tracks

I'm having the same issue. It's happened on two different systems now. I'm using my desktop PC as the machine running the MediaMonkey library, and a little media PC running MediaMonkey as a DLNA client. Some songs play all the way thru just fine, others seem to skip at random points during playback....

Re: Volume Leveling for DLNA Renderer

Why don't you offer a setting to force a conversion and volume level for DLNA clients even if they support the format? So perform a FLAC/FLAC conversion on the fly with volume leveling. That way even if the client doesn't support volume level tags, MediaMonkey could force it by doing the leveling on...

Re: MediaMonkey is unable to decode this format...

"Did you have volume leveling enabled? It also re-encodes."

I tried turning it off and on, but it didn't work either way. I'd prefer it on, since I'd just reencode everything to ALAC before sending it over and get the advantage of nice stable volumes...

"It could be that do not correctly play non Zero padded Audio Data Chunk (Buffer)"

What does that mean? Is there some way to fix that?
