Re: Song order

Thanks for the response Lowlander. The only thing I can find that relates to the "Random Play" you mention is the "Shuffle" which is turned off. I don't see anything in the upper right except for the vertical dots that open up the menu for "Sleep Timer, Equalizer, etc", and the search icon. I checke...

Song order

When I play songs on MMA, they do not play in the proper album order, as they do in MM. The images below show the difference in song order. One is a screenshot of the folder that the songs are in with their correct order. I can't account for the difference. As you can see, the song Cold Hearted, is ...

Re: Adding to playlist

Thanks Lowlander. I still have problems with this. I can select all, all checked off but it the adding part that doesn't seem to work so well. I played around with it some more with increased success if I double tap the "play now" icon at the bottom, though at times it seems to fail. Better but not ...

Adding to playlist

I am at a complete loss. I have the pro version that I use on an old Moto X pure. I access music via the UPnP on my WD NAS. I can scroll through my whole library including all the playlists, folders, ect. When I try to add all the songs from a particular album to the now playing list, I only get one...

Re: Just learning about MM

Probably the first step is to use the knowledge base to familiarize yourself. Your questions may be answered there without even asking.

Re: what songs give you the chills?

I really couldn't think of a song that gave me the chills when I saw this thread. Now if you asked about art, hands down it would be Van Gogh. I get big old goosebumps whenever I see his art or even talking about it. But a song just did pop into my head that does do this. I think it is because of t...

Setup questions and advice

I will be heading out for a long road trip and I need a way to play my music library. My old Iaudio X5 is having issues and my library has grown by a factor of 40 compared to the capacity of the unit. As an attempt at a resolution to this, I have purchased a Cisco Linksys E4200 router at a thrift st...

Re: MM DB and symbolic links

Thanks Lowlander. I am aware of this information. I guess if I could just change all the files to the same location, that would mean that each MM on each separate computer would be using the same database. I am wondering if using symbolic links might be a better way to achieve this. Hard to say. May...

MM DB and symbolic links

I have been using symbolic links to manage my photos using Picasa across multiple PCs on my home network. All my pictures are located on my NAS unit and the database for Picasa is there as well. All the PCs point to the database on the NAS using symbolic links in the appdata folder that Picasa uses ...

I have discovered that when this happens to me, if I go to the home MM web page and use the forum link there I am able to get right onto the forum page without any issue.
