Re: Anyone got Music Bee installed with MM?
Anyone who is used to MediaMonkey soon feels at home with MusicBee, I'm not suggesting that MusicBee has copied MediaMonkey but some things are incredibly similar. There are some killer things which I'd like to see in MediaMonkey. The AutoDJ is better than the MM one as it can choose tracks/artists ...

Re: How do I output EQ'd mp3s for the car
I wanted to do this once and the quickest way I found was to Batch Process the mp3s with SoundForge (get a free trial)

Hard Disk Config which crashes MM?
Last week I moved my music from my SDD to a mechanical SATA disk (internal data 2tb data disk that I use for movies and images.) I've now got the problem where MM crashes during the last few seconds of a song, playing the last few notes then a few seconds of silence in an infinite loop; it can happe...

Control MusicBee with MediaMonkey
Has anyone attempted to use MusicBee as the player for MediaMonkey? I love MediaMonkey and purchased my Gold licence a good while back. I think MediaMonkey's database, smart playlist and general organisational capabilities are unparalleled - so why would I want to use MusicBee as my player? I like M...

Crossfade Weirdness
Got Crossfade enabled and some songs never crossfade into each other. I used to have ForgetCrossfade installed and I checked it wasn't that. Is there certain times when songs will never play simultaneously / crossfade (eg due to filetype, vbr, custom start or custom end times)? I can't narrow it down.

Indie; Dance;
In MediaMonkey I just highlighted a bunch of songs in order to change some properties. Many are already multi-genre but I want to add another genre to the end of what's already there. Some have genres like Rock; Nineties others have just Rock others may just have Dance etc I want to add Indie to the...

Re: Sleep Mode doesn't fade out
Turns out it's the way that MediaMonkey tries to control the volume mixer in some versions of Windows. One solution is to run MediaMonkey in XP Compatibility mode. In the end I wrote my own AutoHotKey script to fade out volume - posting here in case anyone else finds it useful

Re: Duplicate Report 3.0 [MM2+3]
Great script. Couple of questions.
Is there a way to not show groups where all the flags are SOFT? Is it possible to enforce the length rule so that if track lengths are more than the specified difference in seconds they aren't grouped as dupes?

Re: Which script for dupe titles?
Thanks, actually not long after posting I downloaded and installed Duplicate Report and it's really good and will do what I need, would love to see some more options for it going to look for more info on it.

Which script for dupe titles?
Is there a duplicate checker type script which I can configure to quickly compare new additions (say in last 24 hours) to existing tracks which will show suspected duplicates. Can someone help me construct the query that I'd need to create to list tracks that are newly added and possible dupes? Got ...

Re: Sleep Mode doesn't fade out
Thanks Keith, didn't work. Does Sleep work for you? Have tried toggling crossfade and the smooth stop, seek etc options. Toggled Auto DJ. Turned off volume levelling. Removed DSP output plugins. Have tried WASAPI, DirectSound and waveOut output and MediaMonkey doesn't fade the volume Love the idea o...

Backup with Portable Install
Searching for backup and portable brings up numerous threads about mp3 players and file back up so apologies if this has been posted before. I am using a Portable Install of MMG and I want to get the Backup Script working with it. I feel that I will have to manually edit some of the script(s), that ...

Sleep Mode doesn't fade out
I'm trying to get MediaMonkey's "Sleep..." feature (on Play menu) to work. MM will stop playing music when the timer finishes counting down. It just does it abruptly though without fading out. I tick the box for Fade Volume and set Start fading to much less than the Play audio for xx minut...

Re: CDs and Volume Levelling
Thanks Burning with 89dB is pointless as your files were ripped at 89dB. It has to be set to something though? Also in my post above I'm talking about Target volume for leveling tracks not Target volume for Ripping Audio CDs . What does Target volume for leveling tracks do and what's the difference ...
