Re: Playlists expanded when MM opens
I figured out, that the "randomize playlist" extension expands the playlist node on mediamonkey startup. So if you have installed this script that's probably the cause. Thanks that seems to have worked. As soon as I uninstalled that script the playlist were not expanded when starting MM. ...

Re: Playlists expanded when MM opens
That's good to know. Now I don't have to go through the pain of installing, finding out that it doesn't help and then uninstalling. The thing that gets me is ,that like you, the problem is a recent development. Up untill the last few releases the problem didn't exist.

Re: Playlists expanded when MM opens
I'm experiencing this also. Another case of, "I thought it was just me". When I exit MM properly with the playlists not expanded MM always starts with the node expanded. When this happens I also get the white box in the lower left corner of the tree bug. I might try tweakmonkey to solve th...

Re: Keeping tracks together
Yes I understand. That's why there isn't any mention of ipods in my reply. I was just commenting on Lowlander's posts and confirming that the script still works in MM.
As far as I know there isn't any portible that can do what was requested.

Re: Keeping tracks together
This script still works in the latest release of MM. Just yesterday I tested it to see if was still functioning and it worked fine.

Re: Ripping CDs Creates 2 files
The only folder I monitor is C:\My Music\ which doesn't contain a temp folder.
Could EAC be creating a temp folder there, where it's scanned by the file monitor, and then deleted before I ever knew it existed?

Re: Ripping CDs Creates 2 files
I have experienced something similar. I use EAC to rip cd's to mp3 and they show up in MM as expected. These tracks have all the correct info. I have learned to look for other tracks with very strange info and all are wav files which I think are the temp files which are supposed to be automatically ...

Since you said you have an aversion to the iPod family of products, take a look over here http://www.anythingbutipod.com/ You should be able to find what you need there.

I would like to also offer my thanks. While this skin doesn't seem to be as popular as some others, it's the one I like most. Now that this skin has been updated it will look even better.
Keep up the great work.
