Re: Background MM processes after exit

Thanks. I do understand about the instance of MediaMonkey Service but I also get extra MediaMonkey processes, one for each start of MM, in addition to the Service.

Background MM processes after exit

I have noticed that every time I start and exit MM, it leaves an additional background process running. I do let MM finish scanning drives and reading files so the UI is 'idle'. These are in addition to the MediaMonkeyService.exe I am using. I currently have 7 MM background processes in addition to ...

Re: MMA wont play to Roku Soundbridge renderer over UPnP

Thanks for raising it as a bug but it may also apply to MMW. Just browsing the forum, I've only just learnt that MMW can play directly to a UPnP renderer. I have tried playing to the Soundbridge directly from MMW with the same results. If I use the Soundbridge to browse MM UPnP server, I can play tr...

MMA wont play to Roku renderer over UPnP [#13044]

I can't play any tracks to the Roku Soundbridge M1001. MMA detects the Soundbridge OK, but when I play a track, Soundbridge flashes a message 'Can't play <track name>' MMA does realise and resets the Play/Pause button to Play for another attempt to play. A log has been posted with Log ID: XAVVA71ECT...

Re: Sync playlists to SD card [#8254]

I know this is an old thread but this feature to create a list of Artists, etc in the sync would be very useful especially if you have a lot of Various Artist compilations in the collection. So I would request an additional distinction between Artist & Album Artist. I suspect that many users wil...

4.1.0.1616 - Collision in transcode cache then Exception

Playing MM over UPnP. Occasionally MM says "File <transcode cache location>\xxxxx.WAV already exists. Do you want to replace it?" Options are Yes, Yes To All, No, No To All Clicked Yes to All and the MM gives an exception (which I send to the devs) Surely, if a file is in the cache, it can...

Re: 4.1.0.1609 Soundbridge incomplete track listing

Still a problem on MM 4.1.1615

Also get the same behaviour if I use Search Artist then select the found artist. The track listing never completes.

Re: Problem streaming FLAC to Roku Soundbridge

It is fixed for the SoundBridge by converting correctly to WAV which is now recognised. Many thanks. :D The same cannot be said for the Xtreamer. For the record, MM now publishes the following (audio) formats http-get:*:audio/flac:DLNA.ORG_PN=FLAC http-get:*:audio/L16;rate=44100;channels=1:DLNA.ORG_...

Re: Problem streaming FLAC to Roku Soundbridge

I saw this message and I saw the new dev build and assumed they were the same build. This fix is available in 1611 but the new dev build is 1610.

Re: 4.1.0.1609 Soundbridge incomplete track listing

I now have a strong suspicion that MM is serving out another collection that is not configured to be served. The albums/tracks in question exist in multiple collections but the URI being served point to a collection other than the single one configured. The log file submitted refers to a collection ...

Thanks nohitter151. I'm behind the times but MM has the potential to be an awesome server/collection manager.

DLNA Media Tree format masks

It would be really useful of the media tree presented by MM could be configured using directory and File Format masks. I have used this with great success when laying out a media device and presenting an single letter list A-Z of artists and then showing the artists with that letter of the alphabet....

4.1.0.1609 Soundbridge incomplete track listing

Using the Soundbridge Browse Artists then Select Artist the track listing never completes. I get 3 of 45 items. However MM is doing something and I have a debug log that show an endless loop. How can I attach a log to this forum? If I use Browse Server Container and navigate to the same artist, the ...

Re: Problem streaming FLAC to Roku Soundbridge

I also have an Xtreamer with some compatibility problems and I've been digging around using the Intel UPnP tools. I may have something here but don't know enough to know for sure. I'm only looking at audio types but there seems to be some confusion out there about the mime types. For instance for WA...
