Yes. It sounds like MM is not to blame and we'll have to wait for Samsung to make a reliable USB driver.
Samba works great (I just needed to make the network share into a virtual drive for MM to send to).
Thanks again for your help!

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 sync
I want to have large playlists. I have Samba setup for filesharing now. I was planning to delete all of the music and playlists off of the SD card (ext) and then sync via wifi and MM. Have you got a link or comment on setting up MM for this please?

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 sync
The playlist song listings, album artwork, and missed files are what doesn't work right. I also have triplicates on my card now. My playlists are over 100 songs each though. I haven't tried smaller ones. Yes WMP is having similar errors.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 sync
No, I forgot to do that again. The phone and card show up separately now. Thanks.

Didn't fix any of my problems. Still shows two 'android phone' listings even.

Re: MediaMonkey 4 sync to Android issue
In the Samsung\Kies folder there is another folder called USB driver and it's an exe file. I ran it (it gave the warning that it was already installed but I ran it anyway) and didn't help. Then I plugged in my phone I got a windows message saying that it doesn't recognize the hardware plugged into ...

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 sync
I thought WMP was working fine and then it started giving the exact same errors as MM. (except the program wouldn't lock up) When I sync, it knows the files are actually there so it doesn't update however they don't show up on the playlist. A lot of Album artwork is missing. When I play a song ...

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 sync
I did remove the references to my old phone and now have two 'android device' ones instead. Yes, I did change to M3U mode with no help. WMP has a better time with syncing but is not perfect either btw. I'd like to be able to use MM someday.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3 sync
I'm having the exact same issue with syncing to my S3 and not getting playlists or album artwork going to the phone. The new version 4.07.1507 didn't make any difference. Nor did anything in this thread help. Any reliable sync methods in the works?
