Dell XPS 10 tablet

Been a while since I've been here. I've had no issues on my Dell XPS10 until the most recent update of MM8. The hiss has returned even when "Disable Audio Processing" is selected. I can fix the problem, by pausing the song, de-select "Disable Audio Processing", play a different s...

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

Maybe there is some difference between the Surface and the XPS 10 tablet? I pulled the audio jack out, changed the default back to "speakers" and the hiss returned. I went into the advanced section of the "speaker" driver, unchecked HW acceleration, clicked OK and the hiss dis-a...

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

Was a nice try - but did not work. Only a hiss coming out of tablet speakers despite having desktop speakers plugged in. Edit** I continued playing with the soundcard settings. When I bought the tablet, the first time I used a pair headsets was on my flight overseas. I used Bose Noise cancelling, an...

Interesting - never thought about looking into that. I will check it and let you know Update on the hiss. Over the weekend I uninstalled all of the music apps that I had previously tried, including the XBox Music app and Media Monkey. I restarted the tablet and re-installed MediaMonkey. I restarted ...

Update on the hiss. Over the weekend I uninstalled all of the music apps that I had previously tried, including the XBox Music app and Media Monkey. I restarted the tablet and re-installed MediaMonkey. I restarted again after installing MM. When I loaded MM, I turned all the switches to "off&qu...

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

The app is not for the Windows Phone as Jiri has stated Hi! I read that the MediaMonkey App has been released? Well, not in my store :/ Is that possible? Are there different stores for different regions or plattforms? I am using Win8 on my PC. In Germany. Go to download page on this site and get mm ...

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

For the hissing sound. I plugged in a set of ear buds to the Dell XPS 10 this morning. The hiss is isolated to only 1 channel. The other channel, while devoid of hiss, played music but the quality was less than ideal. I also converted MP3 files to FLAC, OGG, and M4A - all of them played with a hiss....

Are you having any issues playing media files from the SD card on the Surface? I don't have a surface but I do have a Dell XPS 10 tablet with windows RT I've been lurking this thread since I got my Surface RT; just wanted to come post and give a huge kudos to the developers. RT needed this in the ec...

Re: MediaMonkey for Windows 8 Metro App

Believe it or not I am working from a government PC with Windows XP. The link you provided was only blocked when I tried to download it. No worries I will convert some MP3's to different formats tonight and let you know if it works. You can download e.g. any FLAC from net, like http://download.linnr...
