Were there any thoughts about an update so that selecting a playlist in a smart playlist filter select only the one playlist instead of all children? I can't find a ticket in Ventis for it (though I'm also not terribly good at searching in Ventis).

I had gone through everything in the Options menu, but didn't realize there were more settings here. Time to explore some more!

In MM4, in the "Location" section of the tree, each folder with subfolders had an "All" option that would show all tracks in the collected subfolders. That feature is not present in MM5.

If I collapse the tree and select a parent playlist whose children are hidden, it still selects all children. Oddly enough, including the playlist I'm creating, which seems... weird. One solution to competing desires might be to have the simple checkboxes as exist now select only the single playlist...

I use nested playlists to do things like have a list for everything of a particular mood, then further filter that down by rating or intersection with another mood or whatever. The nested playlists use "Playlist is [parent]" in order to make sure that tweaks like excluding Christmas music ...

When configuring an auto-playlist based on Mood, Occasion, and the like, the list of options is sorted based on the order in which they appear in the classification menu, but I can't seem to reorder them. MM4 allowed me to drag them into whatever order I wanted, like alphabetically - having the same...

As noted, everything shows up great under the other portions of the Music collection, like Albums and Artists and Genres and so on - it's only the Location section that's broken. Also as noted, it showed up fine initially after scanning, and only vanished after clicking around the menu for a few min...

Are there docs anywhere on editing the skin?

After listening to music for an hour or two, I attempted to open a menu and it appeared on the wrong monitor. That is, the main MM window is on my right-hand monitor, but when I click File or Tools or whatever, the menu appears - but on my left-hand monitor, floating in space on top of my web browse...

And yes, the rest of that album's files are in that particular folder, and there are many other folders that should show up in that tree. Literally my entire collection.
