Re: 64bit version in the future?
MM5 consistently craps out. First totally white screen. Then crash. Sometimes taking down computer to point of auto-reboot.
This all takes place during scan for new files, or updating database.
Needs 64-bit engine, is my hunch.
Thanks,
Nicholas Kormanik

Re: Add/Rescan files to the Library -- Some files don't move
Some of the ill-mannered files are .mp3, and some are .flac. Both included in options, file-types. My hunch is that the file names and/or tags are too long. MM apparently has an issue with long file names and/or tags. Hate hacking off the ends of file names and/or tags. But maybe that's the only sol...

Add/Rescan files to the Library -- Some files don't move
When adding/rescanning files from a particular folder to the Library folder some files don't move over. Example: folder of Library = C:\Library\ folder of new songs to add to Library = C:\New Songs\ All files usually shift over into the C:\Library\. However there are around 100 files that do not mov...

Replace various MP3s with FLAC versions
I'd like some suggestions as to the best way to replace a number of mp3 file versions with full FLAC equivalents. It seems better to have full un-lossy versions of audio files if possible. But once our mediamonkey library has a bunch of those files in lossy versions, how can one go about making an e...

Dealing with Duplicates
In many cases I have five or more duplicates of a single song. I really need a way of paring out unwanted duplicates. Trouble is, which ones to get rid of. One criterion is to get rid of the ones recorded/ripped with too high volume, say, above some decibel number, 25 db? Playing those sound like cr...
