Re: A USB 3 Problem?

I am slowly reducing the number of songs on the flash to see if that is the problem.

Any thought on the yellow triangles?

A USB 3 Problem?

I recently purchased a USB 3 flash drive to use in my car, copying over music from MediaMonkey on to the flash drive. After plugging in the flash drive, I waited quite a while, and then the car said it could not read the flash drive. I brought the flash drive back in and tried to play the music on t...

Accessing Media Monkey on a Sony Smart TV

Getting Media Monkey to talk to my Samsung TV was a snap. My Sony TV, however, continues to say it does not have access to the Media Monkey music files. I've gone through as many connection settings as I can think of, but no luck. I apologize in advance if the answer is right in front of me and I am...

Merging Folders

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I want to make sure. Before MusicMonkey, everything was divided between the iTunes and the Amazon folders. Now, with MediaMonkey, I have a third called MyMusic. I would like to rid myself, even symbolically, of iTunes. Would I be safe in simply copying...

Sorting on the Music View

Is it possible to sort within columns on the music view?

For example: Sort by genre, then artist within genre, then album by artist?

Hope that makes sense.

Re: Newbie Problems

Sorting by size, I see that some of these files are little more than titles. There is no way these could be song files.

Re: Newbie Problems

It seems like a mix of files. MP3 and MP4. I need to look this problem over. I need to see if I can find a pattern in 14,000 + songs. At the risk of sounding like a fool, by TAG, do mean file type? I am no techy, just a music lover, and I will learn what I need to learn in order to make this work. B...

Newbie Problems

Please be patient folks.... As suggested, I downloaded the free version to kick the tires. I already knew I had problems in iTunes which is why I searched out MediaMonkey. I pulled everything in from iTunes. Here is what is happening: 1. Some songs will not play. No sound, but the time bar below thi...

Two Questions Before Purchasing the Gold Version

1. Is MediaMonkey completely compatible with Windows 10? I ask because I tend to trust MediaMonkey more than I trust Windows 10.

2. I need to print various reports of my collection, including one massive report by genre. Will MediaMonkey allow me to do that?
